The school has a well-equipped medical dispensary under the control of a permanent, qualified nurse with HAAD license and also a visiting doctor to see the health of our students and their medication, our school ensure that there is a teacher to look after the student, including companying him/ her to a hospital at times of referral. All cases of injury or illness receive immediate medical attention. Whenever specialized medical aid is required, emergency transport is available to take the student to the hospital. All students receive regular medical examinations.

Grace Valley’s Health Services are designed to provide a continuity of care for the school community between home, school and community health care providers.

We undertake the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD) mandated services

  • Annual health screening
  • Supporting the HAAD immunization teams in providing vaccinations as per UAE vaccine schedule
  • Monitoring and reporting infectious illnesses
  • Assessment of minor health complaints
  • Medication administration and care for students with specific health care needs
  • Initial care for emergencies and other urgent health situations arising in the school day.
  • School nurses enhance wellness and health promotion in the school community and incorporate national and international public health initiatives
